Recycling

The Single Stream Program uses several closed-top containers for sorting recyclable materials including, but not limited to glass, cardboard, metal, and several types of plastics. Our goal here is to help people make the right choices.

The Construction & Salvaging program is designed to enable recycling of unused materials, and reuse of many items such as cupboards, sinks, toilets, doors, windows, trim, as well as wood flooring. These services are available to all homeowners as well as contractors. Salvaged items will be available for resale at the Green Choice Resale Store. The store is expected to open soon and the location is behind McMaken Carpentry at 690 M-134 in Cedarville, Michigan.

This program also offers a large wood chipper that will make wood chips from yard debris and clean construction lumber. The chips will be available for purchase.

Tires and appliances will be accepted for recycling also.
